Who are these tours aimed at?
Anyone from within the UK and European Baseball Community. We are the first and only baseball tour operator in the UK and we want all of our tours to be inclusive and fun. Baseball is a sport for all ages, races and genders, and we are no different. We understand that baseball is a niche sport our side of the pond, so having a big group of friends to share the experience with may be hard to find, which is why we have created these tours, to bring fans together from all over the country.
Where do the Group Tours start?
They start at London Heathrow (unless specified). We will meet at the Departures terminal (landside) of Heathrow Airport. If you need help getting to Heathrow, we can book regional connections for you.
Will there be a tour guide present on all of the Group Tours?
Absolutely! There will always be a representative of Home Run Travel & Tours on every one of our Group Tours, and they will be on hand to make your trip as seamless as possible.
What kind of seats will we have at the ballgames?
We work directly with all of the MLB ballclubs to ensure we have the best seats available for each game, dependent on availability. For the All-Star Tours, the seats will be in the Upper Levels, unless specified. For personalised itineraries, we can get seats wherever you want them...
What kind of hotels will we stay in?
Dependent on availability, we will strive to select the best hotels available, using recognized brands like Hilton, Sheraton, Marriot, and Hyatt, again where applicable. These hotels will be centrally located, giving our guests easy access to other sights in the city, as well as the ballparks. For any ballparks outside the city centre, we will lay on transfers to get to and from the games.
Can I stay in a room on my own?
Of course. There is a supplemental charge if you would prefer to stay on your own, but if you would like to partner with another single traveller to create double occupancy and save on costs, then let us know during the booking phase.
What is included in the price?
Each tour will specify what is included but will predominantly include flights, accommodation and tickets to all games. Transfers to and from the airports as well as any rail travel will also be covered. Day and Evening meals are NOT included as well as things like Metro tickets, and hotel resort fees.
What are your policies on cancellations due to COVID?
We understand it can be a worry, wondering if a trip will go ahead, especially in today's climate. The great thing is all of our packages are covered by ATOL and ABTA. That way, we can postpone the trip to a later date or get you a full refund.
What happens if a game is postponed?
We will do our best to obtain refunds for any postponements, be it due to a rainout or any other reasons. No refunds will be issued directly by Home Run Travel.
