FAQ's
Who are these tours for?
Our tours are for anyone within the UK and European Baseball Community. As the first and only baseball tour operator in the UK, we aim to make our tours inclusive and enjoyable for all. Baseball is a sport for all ages, backgrounds, and genders, and we reflect that in our trips.
We understand that baseball is a niche interest here, so finding friends to share the experience can be challenging. That’s why our tours are designed to bring fans together, creating a sense of community and camaraderie.
Where do the group tours start?
Our tours typically start at London Heathrow (unless stated otherwise). We’ll meet you landside at the Departures terminal. Need help getting to Heathrow? We can arrange regional connections to make your journey seamless.
Will there be a tour guide on the trip?
Yes! A representative from Home Run Travel will accompany every group tour. They’ll be on hand throughout your trip to ensure everything runs smoothly and answer any questions you may have.
What kind of seats will we have at the games?
We work directly with MLB ballclubs to secure the best available seats for each game. For our All-Star Tours, seats will generally be in the upper levels unless otherwise specified. If you’re booking a personalised itinerary, we can arrange seats to match your preferences.
What kind of hotels will we stay in?
We strive to book high-quality, centrally located hotels with trusted brands like Hilton, Sheraton, Marriott, and Hyatt (subject to availability). These locations offer easy access to the city's attractions and ballparks. For ballparks outside the city centre, transfers to and from games will be arranged.
Can I have my own room?
Yes, you can request a single room for an additional charge. Alternatively, if you'd like to save on costs, we can pair you with another solo traveller for a double occupancy arrangement. Let us know your preference during the booking process.
What is included in the price?
Each tour specifies its inclusions, but most packages cover:
- Flights
- Accommodation
- Tickets to all scheduled games
- Airport transfers and rail travel (where applicable)
What’s not included:
- Meals
- Metro tickets
- Hotel resort fees
What can I do outside of the baseball games?
You’re free to plan your own activities during your downtime. While we don’t enforce set itineraries, we’re happy to recommend sightseeing opportunities.
In past tours, guests have often split into small groups for daytime exploration before regrouping to head to the games. You’re also welcome to explore solo. We keep everyone informed through a WhatsApp group, so you’ll always know the plan before game time.
What happens if a game is postponed?
If a game is postponed due to rain or other reasons, we’ll work to obtain refunds directly from the ballclub. Refunds will be processed as soon as we receive them.
