As the saying goes,  'Everything is bigger in Texas', and that certainly applies to Globe Life Field, the Texas Rangers' new $1 billion dollar stadium in the heart of Arlington's entertainment district. Its predecessor, Globe Life Park was only built in 1992 but due to the sweltering temperatures, fans were staying away and an air-conditioned ballpark with a retractable was required.

As you would expect with new stadiums, there is an abundance of fan-friendly areas and entertainment zones including the Sky Porch and the Wild Rag Deck. Outside of the stadium is Texas Live! - an incredible entertainment complex filled with a number of bars and eateries, all with state-of-the-art plasma TV's. It's a great place to go before and after the ball game. It also has amazing views of the spectacular AT&T Stadium, which is home to the Dallas Cowboys.
