Nestled in the streets of downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor, sits the ballpark that has influenced the architecture and construction of nearly every baseball stadium built since 1992. Oriole Park at Camden Yards has widely been acknowledged as one of the sport's great ballparks, with its contextual architectural design, fantastic amenities and fan-friendly setting. Eutaw Street is a bustling area between the right-outfield seats and the iconic B&O Warehouse building. THINGS TO DO IN AND AROUND BALTIMORE

Inner Harbor

Inner Harbor is Baltimore's tourist hub and has everything from scenic waterfront views to spectacular museums. It is home to Maryland Science Center with a planetarium and observatory, as well as the National Aquarium, featuring giant turtles, dolphins and electric eels. The Top of the World Observation Level offers sweeping views of the city, while a collection of historic warships including the USS Constellation (the only surviving ship from the Civil War) is docked below. Power Plant Live! is a fantastic complex of bars, eateries and music venues set within a former power station.

Fort McHenry

Fort McHenry is best known for its successful defense of the city during the famous Battle of Baltimore that inspired Francis Scott Key to write “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Whether you’re a history buff, a nature lover or just looking for something fun to do, there are plentiful reasons why you should add this iconic destination to your itinerary.

Immerse yourself in history with re-enactments, flag talks, ranger programs and the opportunity to raise a replica of the original Star-Spangled Banner. The fort is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with extended hours during the summer months.

Washington D.C.

The nation's capital is only a short 35-minute train ride away. Boasting iconic monuments and the renowned Smithsonian museums, D.C is the perfect city to walk (or cycle) around and check out it's famous buildings and war memorials, from the White House to the US Capitol building and the Lincoln Memorial to the Jefferson Memorial. For some food and drink, choose from one of its vibrant neighbourhoods such as upmarket Dupont Circle, riverside Foggy Bottom or cool Adams Morgan.
