Since their arrival to the East Bay in 1968, the A’s have made The Oakland Coliseum (now RingCentral Coliseum) their home. While the Coliseum may not be at the top of any baseball fans bucket lists due to its dated ballpark, the A’s have had quite a history with the old lady, appearing in the postseason 19 times and winning 4 World Championships. Their 19 postseason appearances are tied with the Dodgers for third-most in that span behind only the Braves and Yankees.  Some of baseball’s best, Reggie Jackson, Ricky Henderson, Dennis Eckersley, Rollie Fingers and Catfish Hunter called Oakland their home at some point in their illustrious careers.

The A's have long been looking for a new home, with a new stadium hoping to be built further along in East Bay. However, after a multitude of issues with the city's politicians, they have been given permission to look for a new home, away from Oakland.
